■What is Japan Symphony Brass?

Japan Symphony Brass is a British-style brass band that was born in September 2015 in Minato Ward, Osaka City.

British brass bands do not include stringed instruments or woodwind instruments.

The band is composed of only brass instruments from the saxhorn family, trombones, and percussion instruments.

Records show that the beginning of the brass band was a band that the Salvation Army, a Christian organization, played on street corners to collect donations.

Later, brass bands spread throughout the country as a way for miners to relax and unwind.

The band is characterized by a beautiful, shining sound, and is likened to a "silver pipe organ."
