On this question, the Karnataka high court clarified that there is a "serious dispute" regarding the title of the Bangalore Idgah, on which the Supreme Court had earlier ordered "status quo" on a petition by the Karnataka Waqf Board. In Hubballi, the ground is used for parking and other activities, and is not a place of worship. "The facts are different," the court said.
