Day 4 of our Transylvania Travel Vlog 2022 Series took us by train from Sighisoara to Cluj-Napoca. Trains in Transylvania are semi quick this journey took four hours to get to Cluj-Napoca from Sighișoara. The train tickets cost $13 per person! Cities in Transylvania and Romania are very well connected. This is just one way that Romania is one of Europe’s most underrated countries, it is easy for travelers to get around.

Over the past few days of traveling Transylvania in 2022, we were craving some variety in our food. The restaurant had great reviews and Shen Yang, while rough on the inside and outside, had delicious Chinese food. We ordered four dishes and our entire meal at Shen Yang cost a total of $18! Cluj-Napoca is a great city to visit if you are traveling Europe on a budget.

When we book accommodation we try to make sure they have a washing machine, but this time we were out of luck. Our booking.com host recommended a laundromat for us to visit. Washeria (Spalatorie Laundromat) was super convenient because they had information signs in English, took credit cards, and provided the soap! We did a load of laundry and dried our clothes. The cost was $6, which makes Cluj-Napoca a great option if you are traveling Europe on a budget!
