Here is how you can connect your Nighthawk router to the Xfinity modem:
● Turn the “Bridge Mode” feature on your Xfinity wireless gateway. This will remove its routing abilities but leave the modem features on. Also, doing this will allow you to connect your Nighthawk router as the main one.
● On your device, visit play.googl.com for Android or apps.apple.com for iOS (the link is in the description) to download and install the Nighthawk application. This app will help configure your settings.
● Connect the two devices using an Ethernet cable. Connect it from the LAN port on your Xfinity Moden to the WAN port on the Nighthawk router.
● Restart the devices, but restart the Xfinity Modem before restarting your Nighthawk router.
● Connect to your router by looking below the router for your WiFi network name(SSID) and network key (PASSWORD) and enter the details to connect your devices.
