During World War 2, there were a few men who betrayed Britain and paid the ultimate price for their treason. The Treachery Act punished people in only one way and that was execution. The most infamous traitor, Lord Haw Haw William Joyce was executed by Albert Pierrepoint as was John Amery. There were some sailors and soldiers who also spied for the enemy and gave away state secrets. In this documentary we look at the fates of those few men who betrayed Britain during World War 2.
