First in a series of videos taking a look at Asterisk. I take a look at how to install the Asterisk open source communications framework on FreeBSD using binary packages. Asterisk is used as the basis for many existing PBX solutions.
After peforming the initial Asterisk installation I then take a look at a bare minimum configuration, setting up an extension (pjsip), and then initiating a call to a demo extension.
