F 19, initially named F 101, was an air regiment composed of Swedish volunteers flying aircraft donated by the Swedish Air Force first created in 1939. It saw action in northen Finland in 1940. It was in action for only 62 days but managed to destroy twelve or thirteen (depending on source) aircraft at the cost of six of its own as well as three aircrew killed. Its 16 aircraft consisted of J 8 (Gloster Gladiator) fighters, B 3 (Hawker Hart) bombers as well as two types of civilian liason aircraft, these were served by around 280 men.
