The Huawei P30 series is a huge success. And the successor will again set new standards. Of course synonymous with the subject of smartphone photography, where Huawei is now the manufacturer to beat it. Therefore, it is not surprising that there are also first assumptions about the camera of the Huawei P40 (Pro).
Rumor has it that we could find a Penta camera on the back of the 2020 flagship. Of course, the Leica branding will be on board again.
Also, it can be assumed that there will be a 5G model variant. These are not yet available from the current flagship series. But even an LTE model will still exist as a backup for the markets, where there will be no functioning 5G network.
Huawei is said to have been working for some time on HiSilicon Kirin 990, the successor to the current flagship SoC Kirin 980. So we should not be surprised if this SoC in the upcoming Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro would see.
And maybe there will be a display upgrade for the 2020 flagship? So far, the manufacturer still relies on a FullHD + AMOELD panel. Actually, it would be time for a WQHD + display, right? And then maybe a refresh rate of 90 hertz or more?
But before we see the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, the Huawei Mate 30 series awaits us in the fall. And that should be a first indication of the 2020 models.
