The 10th generation Intel Core i3 1010 from the new Comet Lake series is set to be very powerful budget CPU and a competitor to the Gen 2 Ryzen 3 3300X from AMD. While they are the same price, I believe the Ryzen 3 3300X will edge out Intel, because of the cheaper motherboards available to them.
