I recently acquired a dream amp of mine: a 1985 Marshall JCM 800! I thought I'd put my new amp to the test by shooting it out with my 1997 JCM 900, as well as the Overloud TH-U plugin emulation of the 800. Both amps and the plugin were re-amped using the same guitar DI recordings, as well as the same impulse responses.
