In this Dawlish Sea Wall update, we find out when Dawlish Sea Wall will be open! Jack shows us what has happened since the brook diversion, and the link bridge is taking shape remarkably quickly. It won't be long until phase one, and phase two of the sea wall are joined together.

We show you historic Dawlish storm footage of some rough seas hitting the old sea wall and stilling basin, and Jack explains what they have done to help the water drain quicker when the tide resides during a storm.

The temporary channel has now been filled in with concrete, and the new bridge structure is already taking shape where the brook was running 8 days before.

Jack also informs us when the beach will be open, and it's not very long now!
