Does #babyledweaning increase the risk of choking? 🤔
September is Baby Safety Month and research by @prof_amybrown found that baby-led weaning was not associated with increased risk of choking and the highest frequency of choking on finger foods occurred in those who were given finger foods the least often 👶🏽
Finger foods that are soft and safely prepared are safe for your baby from 6 months of age on 🌱…and practicing with finger foods can actually help LOWER the risk of choking 🙌
