Surigao is located in the northeast corner of Mindanao and there are many tourist attractions in the area. Surigao is about an hour flight from Cebu City, Philippines. Surigao is a "hub" and many people from outlying areas come into town to shop and market their goods. Two Shopping malls, a large public market and many opportunities for tourists to tour the area are available.
