In Synth Doctor's debut video, we install a new, better engineered power supply on a prophet 5 Rev 3.3 This supply can be made for all versions of the prophet 5 (rev 1 - 3). We also go over soldering and desoldering technique, basic troubleshooting, and checking the general state of health of the synthesizer. This series will encapsulate a full restoration including rebuilding the keyboard, methodically troubleshooting any issues, calibration, and more!
