The Israeli military fired at the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) headquarters in southern Lebanon, wounding two peacekeepers, according to the UN. UNIFIL said an Israeli tank hit a guard tower at its Naqoura base on Thursday, causing two members to fall. The peacekeepers’ injuries were not serious, but they remained in the hospital. The attack comes amid Israel’s ongoing assault on Hezbollah.
