Mr Amos Nyaribo is the new Nyamira Governor following the death of John Nyagarama about three weeks ago.
Nyaribo was sworn into office Tuesday at exactly 12 noon.
Nyaribo who has been Nyagarama's deputy governor for the last eight years took the oath of office under the watch of Nyamira resident judge Esther Maina and Chief Magistrate Margaret Wambani.
The ceremony was also witnessed by Council of Governors Chairman who is also Kakamega Governor Wyckliffe Oparanya and D3volution Cabiinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.
All elected MPs from Nyamira were also present in the event that was conducted at Nyamira Primary School, the same arena where Nyaribo and Nyagarama were sworn into office after winning the 2017 elections.
