Ubud a small a yet tranquil place filled with rainforest, terraces and rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes.
We rented a moped, and we headed out to explore this beautiful place. Villas in Ubud are amazing, with huge infinity pools looking over beautiful rice fields. Waterfalls in Ubud can be reached by moped and are a definite must see. Hidden waterfalls in Ubud that are not so touristy can be found. The best places to visit in Bali would definitely be Ubud as there are not as many tourists, and relaxation can be achieved here. Ubud's Monkey forest is a cool site to visit , we wanted to go here but ran out of time. The best time to visit the rice fields would be for sunrise as it is very quiet and the colours are just amazing.
The villa we stayed at was called Tini Villa House Ubud. It was very beautiful, the staff were very kind. The location of our villa was set amongst some beautiful rice fields.
