Six-20 Kodak Junior {1939} // -
Whilst wandering through North Yorkshire I stumbled across this 84 year old camera at a jumble sale for 10 pounds. Still in its beautiful original carry bag, I asked the lady if she knew what condition it was in, to which she shrugged and said she had no idea, but suggested it would make a fabulous ornament.
Curious, I managed to source some 620mm film online (which expired in the 70's) and thought I'd give it a whirl.
I shot in F11, 2 hours within either sunrise or sunset as the 1930's manual suggested. This film had 8 exposures, and 4 of them turned out quite lovely!
50% success rate, I don't mind those odds.
In all honesty, I wasn't expecting them to turn out at all.. so I'm over the moon with the results! And thanks as always to the experts at Fitzgeralds Perth for developing them for me.
Wait until the end of the video to see the examples.
