If you are getting a "Service Trailer Brake System" message, that is a safety-critical defect, and in my case, a defective wire harness. Please document the defect as best you can, and then submit a formal complaint to the NHTSA. Hopefully, if enough of us band together, we can force a recall, so GM has to pay for (or reimburse) us for the repair costs of their defective vehicles.
