I gave Cubicle 7 a bit of a hard time with Doctor Who 2e -- though to be fair, I've given a LOT of love to Doctor Who 1e, which is great -- so this week I wanted to balance things out with a great Cubicle 7 starter set for a great game: Soulbound.
This set brings with it a well-rounded, varied set of pre-gens, a detailed and highly useful guide to the city of Brightspear, and a well-crafted intro adventure that teaches all the essentials in a natural progression.
I'll put it this way: I knew nothing at all about Age of Sigmar before buying that starter set, and afterward I bought the whole damn line and am loving it. It's a great game, with elegant rules and numerous excellent supplements, so it's two thumbs up from me!
Coming soon: my review of the Soulbound Core Rulebook!
