Suffice to say, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity for this conversation with Lyssa Adkins when we met back in late January. Besides getting to know each other, we cover a range of interrelated topics.
We reflect on the times we're living in, the current competition between living a thriving life and a sustainable one, the need for more conscious leadership and responsibility, decision making, developing a more nuanced and triune view of the world, complexity, collective sensemaking and much more besides.
I'm sure you will find this an insightful and I hope, inspiring conversation.
Lyssa is a world renowned agile + professional coach, facilitator, teacher and inspirer. In 2010, she co-founded the Agile Coaching Institute which has developed over 10,000 people in the knowledge, skills and being-ness needed to yield genuinely competent agile coaching.
It's likely you've also come across Lyssa's book, Coaching Agile Teams, which is still a top-10 Agile book, years after publication.
Her fields of interest are far ranging and include facilitating intense conflict, societal change, organizational change, the benefits and costs of being human in the workplace, agile coaching, agile transformation, adult human development, human systems dynamics, the role of nature, and books of all sorts.
