In our world, there exists an anomaly in space and time that few know about called the Void. One of the few, a man by the name of Steve, seeks to end the Void once and for all. After a failed attempt at trying to convince his roommate, Jack, to help him in his efforts, Steve warns him that he needs to avoid the Void by sleeping during the times the Void is active, or else he risks entering the Void and facing off against the creatures that dwell within.
