The Wurtele Center for Leadership brings you the fourth in a series of animated videos about our core values, featuring Smith College campus leaders telling their stories. For this installment, Selah Kamau ('21), recounts how she used her voice to educate her community about the Covid-19 vaccine through Instagram stories. Selah describes the different ways one can amplify their voice for social change, and urges leaders to "make sure everyone's voice is heard . . . if you're the only one speaking up and speaking forward, there won't be anyone to take your place" in the future.
Interview by Wurtele Center intern Yami Velez ('22) and animation by former intern Sophie Willard Van Sistine ('22J).
