Counting agents and party workers gathered on counting centres as counting for Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Elections began. In front of several counting rooms where counting of votes for the Panchayat elections were underway, huge crowds were witnessed. Despite the state being under curfew, crowding at a massive scale was seen and covid-19 norms were openly flouted at various centres. At many centres, people outside the counties centre were seen without masks.
