Police are investigating two separate incidents involving suspects crashing into police cars in both Euclid and Cleveland.
In Euclid, Three suspects are in custody after allegedly ramming their stolen Kia into a police car and leading officers on a chase that finally ended in Willoughby. According to the Euclid Police Department, the incident began with an officer attempting to make a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of East 276th Street. When the officer got out of the police cruiser, the suspect vehicle rammed the squad car and fled the scene. While the police car was damaged, the officer was not injured.
Meanwhile, authorities are also currently searching for a suspect who allegedly rammed their car into a Cleveland police vehicle early Thursday evening.
Officials say the Cleveland Division of Police vice officer was attempting to pull the suspect over within the 7500 block of Kinsman Road. The suspect then slammed the officer with their car door before driving away.
The officer involved was not hurt in the incident, per Cleveland police. The suspect's vehicle has since been located, but the individual is still at large.
