Ryan Liebenrood, 33, was on the run after slashing a man's hand open with a sickle when he was caught on CCTV attempting to break into a property with a garden rake in Birmingham. He was arrested two weeks later when he was confronted by two West Midlands Police officers. Liebenrood was jailed for 14 years at Birmingham Crown Court last Thursday after admitting robbery and possession of weapons.
