The Delhi Police named nine Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students as the primary accused in the violence that took place in the university last week, including that of JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh. She was one of the many students who were injured in the violence Sunday night with pictures of blood oozing out of her head becoming the poster image of that fateful night. The Delhi Police registered an FIR against her on Sunday night for the alleged vandalism that took place before the violence broke out.
