This is the installation, servicing and operating manual originally supplied with the Garrard RC72A record autochanger. Shown page by page. There is no copyright notice given in this manual, and it relates to a record player autochanger of 70 years ago. The idea is that the resolution of each frame should be sufficient that a hobbyist repairing/restoring one of these should be able to make screen captures of each page.
The RC72A is an interesting turntable for several reasons. Firstly it is one of the early ones to the market to offer 33 1/3, and 45 rpm speeds, in addition to 78 rpm. It is clearly a redesigned 78 rpm system to incorporate the 'new' speeds. It has no provision to play 45 rpm 7" records automatically, and the manual details how to play these manually. The turntable was designed originally to track at 10 grams, high by today's standards, but with a suitable ceramic cartridge it might, with a 'wing and a prayer' work at 6 grams. (Mine tracks at around 10, which is high, but won't instantly ruin modern records.)
