Don't judge Islam based on how the Taliban practice it, for starters, there is no co-ocerian in Islam. Yvonne a women's advocate, said one of the reasons she converted is because women are given a high status in Islam, whether or not that is practiced, it's not islam's fault, but the people who practice based on their own interpretation. All humans are full of flaws. 9/11 started with planes being hijacked by NON-Afghans, since then, Islam, Afghanistan, peace, identity, safety, media stories have all been hijacked and as the saying goes, the first casualty of war is the truth.
We only pray for a peaceful, safe Afghanistan so people have the ability to be self- sufficient to earn a living with dignity and respect and without fear, Ameen.
