I came across five or six matching sets of this Brazilian to be built into various Dream Series guitars. Each has had a similar bell-like quality, and it's been fascinating to see how that manifests each time. With this 000-14BA it comes out across the board, but in particular with the trebles; there's a glassy band of overtones that swell after a moment. This guitar is delicious in every respect. Update in 2020: this guitar has really opened up in four years. The Adirondack top now is very colorful with great dynamic range, there’s nothing like a mature guitar crafted from Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce, especially in the hands of the crew at Preston Thompson Guitars.
