Join us as we explore Pembroke Castle in Pembrokeshire, Wales (about 10 miles from Tenby).
This is a fantastic castle filled with a fascinating history dating right back to the Mesolithic hunter-gatherers (11,000 years ago!) It is most famous for being the birthplace of Henry Tudor.
Pembroke Castle was built around 1093 and was reconstructed by William Marshall in the late 12th century.
Pembroke Castle is privately owned and the grounds are also dog friendly.
Scenes from the tv show, A Discovery Of Witches and the film adaptation of Bad Education were filmed at the castle.
In our opinion, Pembroke Castle is definitely worth a visit. As you will see from this video, there is plenty to learn and explore at this castle and the kids loved it there.
