Why The Rivian R1s Suv Is Best Suv Ever

The Rivian R1S is a two-box SUV in the conventional style. While most manufacturers break the regulations with excessively done cuts, creases, and elaborate touches, Rivian has taken a simpler approach.

It works quite well, giving the Rivian R1S a futuristic appearance. The R1S, like its pickup sister, features a full-width LED light bar up front that also functions as a charge status indicator.

The hood is elevated above the ground and has delicate character lines. The front bumper has two tow hooks, a robust metal skid plate, integrated horizontal fog lights, and an air inlet to cool the battery.

The SUV comes standard with 21-inch magnesium-aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in road tires. As paid extras, three 20-inch all-terrain tires and two 22-inch low-profile tires are offered.

The R1S seems long and rectangular from the side view. Although no complex aerodynamic concepts have been used to this box, Rivian has included flat door handles as standard.

The rear quarter window is separated from the glass area by a strong C-pillar that holds the auto maker's emblem. The full-wide LED strip at the back emphasizes the breadth.

The side body cladding and front and rear bumpers seem to be one unit due to their flowing appearance.

The LA Silver color comes standard; however, eight different alternatives are available, each costing an additional USD 1,750 or 2,500.
