I first became aware of Buffy when in the mid 60's Donovan covered her brilliant 'Universal Soldier' song. Then in 1970, I saw the 'Soldier Blue' film which Buffy had done the title song for and then I thought I must get a Buffy album. In 1971 Buffy released 'She Used To Wanna Be A Ballerina' and with song covers by such illustrious names as Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Carole King on that album I just had to get it. And hidden away on Side 2 was this little anti-war song "Moratorium" which really struck a chord with me then, and NOW. That woman is a national treasure.
