Being a first-generation college student became easier for Justin A. when he realized that other new students were having pretty much the same experience he was. Even though many of his fellow students' parents went to college, learning in the era of cell phones and the internet levels the playing field. Justin found Purdue Polytechnic to be a warm, welcoming community with plenty of support and opportunities to network.
