Ingredients for semolina pudding:
semolina 3/4 cup
-sugar 1/2 cup - salt 1/4 tsp
- milk 1 litre (4 cups)
- rose water 1 tsp
Ingredients for cream mixture:
- double cream 200g
- corn flour 3 tsp - milk 1/2 cup
- sugar 2 tsp
Ingredients for sugar syrup: - water 1 cup
-sugar 1/2 cup
rose water 1 tsp
Method:
-start by making semolina pudding by combining semolina, sugar, salt, milk and rose water. Stir ocassionally and once it thickens turn of the flame. Pour this in the setting tray.
- now mix together corn flour and milk -in a pan add double cream, sugar and corn flour and
milk mixture. Cook on medium to low flame by stirring continuously. Once it thickens pour over semolina pudding
- Garnish with chopped pistachios and once it cools down refrigerate for 4-6 hours or until it sets completely.
- serve with sugar syrup
