The Mahayuti Alliance has hinted that its Chief Ministerial candidate could be incumbent Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The seat sharing negotiations between the UBT Sena and Congress remain unresolved, with the Uddhav Sena demanding more than 14 seats in the Vidarbha region, a Congress stronghold. Meanwhile, the Mahavikas Aghadi is still struggling with seat share formulation.
