The CBI that knocked the door of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia yesterday at around 7.00 am, finally left his house at around 10.30 pm.
· The CBI in its FIR has stated that Manish Sisodia along with other public servants have been taking undue pecuniary benefits from private liquor license holders.
· Sources said during the 12-hour raid, the agency officials seized confidential official files relating to the new excise policy from the home of a public servant.
· No cash recovery has been made so far.
· In the list of 15 accused in the case, Manish Sisodia has been named as accused no. 1. In totality 31 locations were raided by CBI.
· The CBI has also alleged that the companies have cooled their books to take out cash and further cash was being distributed to public servants through various individuals who were close aides of Manish Sisodia.
· So far no arrests have been made by CBI in the matter
