Quick explanation how a tachymeter scale on a chronograph works.
In this video, I will show you what a tachymeter scale of your watch with a time measuring function (chronograph) can provide and how to read it properly. To showcase this function, I present to you my vintage OMEGA Seamaster.
Tachymeter scales can usually be found around the dial or on the rehaut (outer rim connecting the dial with the edge of the front glass) and it provides a simple way to transfer your seconds measurement into a per-hour velocity.
