On 9 October 2020 UM hosted an online webinar and debate session dedicated to the European Green Deal and the future role of modern corporations. The online event was moderated by the Elverding chairholders on ‘Sustainable Business, Culture and Corporate Regulation’: Mieke Olaerts and Rob Bauer.
The goal of this online event was to discuss how modern corporations can contribute to achieving a sustainable European future. Diederik Samsom and John Kay gave keynote introductions after which we went into debate with the three CEOs: Marlies van Wijhe - Van Wijhe Verf, Hein Schumacher - FrieslandCampina, Dimitri de Vreeze - DSM and the two speakers.
