A family in Kiambu County says it is living in fear after what they claim are attempts to grab their 236 acres piece of land by unknown powerful individuals. Josphat Njoroge, a coffee farmer says over the last two months officers from DCI headquarters and national lands commission have not only visited his home but also summoned him to shed light on how he acquired the parcel of land. The family has also reported cases of vandalism inside their farm and which they attribute to efforts by the powerful individuals to disrupt farming activities before evicting them.
