Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Rajya Sabha while replying to the debate on the Motion Of Thanks to the President's address. But employment and growth took centre stage in Rajya Sabha. PM Modi claimed that the job hiring had been doubled ever since lockdown was uplifted. However, P.Chidambaram countered the claim and said, "Government promised 2 crore jobs every year where are the jobs?" PM Modi also cited reports his claims.
