Xanthi, a city of 60 thousand #residents, is located in #Thrace, near the border with #Bulgaria, in northeastern Greece. Xanthi lies 200 km east of #Thessaloniki and only 53 km northeast of Kavala, through the #Egnatia highway, while it is served by the “Alexander the Great” international #airport near Kavala.
