Debra catches up with Georgian winemaker Zurab Ramazashvili, owner of Telavi Wine Cellar, a winery founded in 1915 and located in the Kakheti region – one of the country’s major wine producing regions. He explains the suite of wines they produce, many of which are with native Georgian grape varieties, as well as delving into the history and background of Telavi Wine Cellar’s vineyards and winery, their production volumes, along with the traditional “qveri” winemaking techniques they employ.
