Since there are no direct flights to Guine Bissau from Asia , Dakar has been the best choice of transit. Normally we take transit Hotel in the city , but this time decided to stay near the coastal part of Dakar Saly Beach area . And we found out Hotel Neptune to be simply reasonable and attractive , Hotel has European beach style ambience, food and rooms are pretty good and so is the room service. I would definitely recommend. Hotel is just few minutes walkable distance from the beach.

Saly was originally a Portuguese trading post known as Porto de Ale, which became Portudal, and later Sali Portudal. On February 24, 1984, the resort was created on a previously unoccupied tract of land near the former trading post. It was about this time that tourism began to take off in Senegal.
With fine golden sand making up most of Senegal's 330 miles (531 km) of Atlantic coastline, Senegal is a beach lover's paradise.
