The Halcyon was groundbreaking for the time (late 1984), featuring voice recognition, speech synthesis and a laserdisc player. The brainchild of Rick Dyer, best known for Dragon's Lair and Space Ace arcade laser games, it was also very expensive. Only a few were sold, with just two games ever released (Thayer's Quest and NFL Football) before the company went bankrupt.
