Filter removal (injector/outlet filter) and replacement (intake filter).
Key points.
- Disregard my comment on the brackets. The gas fumes got to me. I still don't know how to make the AM pump fit the brackets.
-Drain all fuel. I had plenty in there for no good reason. Drain from both petcocks.
-At minimum change the two pump gaskets that seal against the tank.
-Lubricate both gaskets and tighten the bolts slowly and evenly
-With the injector filters mounted on the outside, this will make the pump run cooler and work less. Also the filter is massive and has lots of cleaning area.
-Check for leaks once tank is assembled with pump
-test run the bike in a well vented area to make sure all works as intended prior to full re assembly.
