Daya Vieja is surrounding by the green orchards and the extensive network of ditches that provides evidence of its Arab origins, it is located in the heart of Vega Baja in contrast with the more modern image of its urban center, which still has vestiges of a palatial past.
The series entitled "Alicante, town by town" is being produced by the Image and Promotional Department of the Provincial Institution with the objective to make each of the Alicante’s localities known in an attractive and intimate way, reflecting its landscape, historical, cultural and urbanistic peculiarities.
