There was tension in the courtroom during the Lori Vallow trial in Boise, Idaho as the only living child of the so-called doomsday mom took the stand.
Ryan is the older half brother of Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow who was adopted into the family.
FOX 10 investigative reporter Justin Lum spoke with LiveNOW's Andrew Craft about the most dramatic part of Colby's testimony. The jury listened to a phone call between him and Vallow as she sat in jail.
"To know they're gone and you knew and my phone's being texted by my little sister who's not even alive," Ryan said on the call. "My little brother, who's the sweetest little kid ever. For what purpose can you tell me this is God's will, for my whole family, including my stepfather to be dead..."
