What makes Sumba so interesting is the traditional culture. The people are still using big stones for their tombs, just like the megalith era. During my visit to Waingapu – East Sumba, I and my two Dutch followers planned to visit some of the traditional villages which are quite famous. Their house are still traditional and they still use the tomb with big stone as the grave. Our splendid guide, John Kopa Rihi, brought us to the location of one of the famous villages Melolo.
