3 K Class Steamrail steam engines travel from Melbourne to Traralgon in Gippsland Australia, for the 100 year celebrations of the K Class. These three engines used the turntable at Traralgon to back into the vintage roundhouse for a historic moment in time. Then see the engines leave Traralgon, seeing them run along side the freeway and at many stations and railway crossings during the return trip to Pakenham. The trip was dampened by the K 100 losing a piston rod just outside of Morwell. This impacted the travel time and the subsequent speed of the engines coming into Traralgon and on return to Melbourne.
